Vitalliver suppository, a Chinese medicine developed by Vigconic (International) Limited and Chengdu University of
Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital, is a novel medicine for Chronic Hepatitis B.
Vitalliver suppository underwent phase I clinical trial applied through the Scientific Committe of Sichuan Province. After a
six-month therapy on 80 Hepatitis B subjects, it was found that Vitalliver suppository was effective to 80% of Hepatitis B
virus carriers (HBsAg+, HBeAg-) and more than 50% of decompensated Hepatic Cirrhosis patients. After using Vitalliver
suppository, the tests on patients' blood samples showed significant increase in activities of T-cells, B-cells and NK cells,
indicating a promising performance in boosting human immune functions.
Vitalliver is in a form of suppository, which is not so common among Hepatitis B medicines. After administration, the drug is
absorbed via the rectum, avoiding any harmful effects to the liver or kidneys.
The founder of Vigconic (International) Limited is very serious on the development of Chinese medicines. The studies and
clinical observations were carried out with most scientific manors. The phase II clinical trial, which will take place soon
with the participation of the Department of Microbiology, The University of Hong Kong, will include a control group of using
Western medicines as Hepatitis B therapy. I wish the phase II trial every success. The study provides a good basis for the
development, modernization and internationalization of Chinese medicine.

Acute Toxicity Test, Long-Term Toxicology Test, Liver and Kidney's non-toxic, Side-Effects Test indicated that Vitalliver is non-toxic, safe, without pathological changes and does not have any side-effect towards liver and kidney. - Clinical Observations on Hepatic Cirrhosis after Administering Vialliver Suppository to Chronic Hepatitis B Patients with Diagnostic Results
Vitalliver treatment showed significant efficacy in suppressing Hepatitis B, improving liver functions and hepatic fibrosis. Ultrasound showed recovery in liver size and decrease in liver fibroid size. Ascites disappeared or decreased. Prothrombin time also resumed normal.

Treatment by Using Vitalliver Suppository
Vitalliver showed significant efficacy in improving patients' symptoms, such as fatigue, poor appetite, and bowel swelling. It can also increase urine output and gradual reduce ascites. It has good immunomodulating functions and enhances the activities of T-cells, B-cells and NK-cells. Some patients had their HBV DNA test turn negative after treatment.

There was no relapse in the viral load after stopping the medication. Vitalliver not only showed good treatment results towards those patients with Liver Cirrhosis. It also happened to the Chronic Hepatitis B carriers. The percentage of viral load turning negative was more than 80%. It is effective in suppressing hepatitis virus and promoting hepatic cell growth. These could both strengthen the liver and improve the clinical symptoms of patients.
