Mr. Tam, a practicing lawyer in mainland China, was 41-year-old at the time of discovering Parkinson's disease.

He became inarticulate, lost his memory gradually, and felt stiffness in his brain. A year later, he had got a "Masked Face". Since he suffered from Parkinson's disease, Mr. So was diagnosed by over 100 doctors, and tried all possible treatments, like acupuncture, ear taping, urine therapy, practicing Qigong and Kung Fu, massage therapy, and even appeasing the deities for their miraculous powers. However, the results were all frustrating.

Mr. Li, an electronics technician aged 55 at time of diagnosis.

Mr. Ma a retiree aged 76 at the time he was diagnosed with the disease. At first, he lost his sense of direction and later, he could not recognize his family members.

Mr. Ma's wife is overjoyed to see a healthier husband who is now able to look after himself and help with the housework. "He would not respond when we talked to him before, but now he can communicate like a normal person and I don't even have to remind him to take medicine every time", said Mrs. Ma.
